Meet the volunteers who are making HELPCA possible

It is Friday, the second delivery day 🚚 of the week and today we would like to give a special thanks to a very special family that supports HELPCA from the beginning of this adventure: Zulema and Ryan Wilson!

As some of you already know, HELPCA was initially created to help out organic food deliveries for the families of our children’s school. Because our kids are going to the same school together in Ojochal, Ryan and Zulema were some of the first ordering on HELPCA, and quickly became part of the team! They have such a big heart that when HELPCA started to get bigger, they generously offered their help, without thinking twice about it. Since then, every Wednesday, they are here carrying, sorting, packing the food orders for the community💪🏽

The couple is aware about how fundamental is to support our local farmers and vendors who work in a sustainable way. Zulema told us: « I think it’s a beautiful thing that people are trying to make a living with the special thing they can offer to the world, whether it’s making bread, making jewelry or selling plants… Being able to help each other out and spend our money within the community instead of going to a big corporation, I think it helps us grow better and get better ». BIG UP to Zulema & Ryan for your precious help and giving so much of you time within the HELPCA family! 🥰🌿 @awakenedbyplants_foods @immortal.elegido @ Ojochal De OSA Puntarenas
